Lenin & The Bolshevik's new EP has sent a striking message to their fanbase about who this group of young boys are. They're certainly not the boy band we've seen so far, and their new image is both surprising and seemingly fitting. Cohesively this ep seems sonically interesting, coming together at it's peak, "Dew-Dirty Dodo Birds?" The lofi recording is an interesting twist, although this does lead to a lot of the sounds being lost in the mix, making some of the more interesting sounds inaudible. In addition, while the feedback present somewhere around the half way mark is a good "fuck you," it also takes control of the mix and isn't the most pleasant sound. Overall, this ep shows great growth of our boys in red and it's exciting to see what they'll do next! Certainly it'll be great because I'm sure Hannah Shumacker won't be singing any of these hit singles.
